AI contact across multiple teams and units at DB Systel. Developed AI strategy, trained colleagues on LLMs and GenAI, and built proof-of-concepts from requirements analysis automation to internal Q&A systems.
Machine Learning
M.Sc. in Autonomous Systems (TU Darmstadt). Research in Graph Neural Networks, Reinforcement Learning, and Behavioral Cloning. Hands-on with Transformers, Diffusion Models, and LLMs.
Software & Data Engineering
5+ years building data-driven applications in agile teams. Built a nationwide dispatching tool processing 200M+ records/year and a warranty management system for the ICE4 fleet.
A Bit About Me
By day, I'm an IT consultant at DB Systel, where I've spent the last five years building enterprise applications. Somewhere along the way I became the go-to AI person, first for my team, now across the whole cluster. I run workshops on LLMs, build proof-of-concepts, and try to figure out what actually works. I also just wrapped up my Master's in Autonomous Systems at TU Darmstadt, where I got to play with robot arms and graph neural networks.
Outside of work, I'm happiest when I'm traveling, diving somewhere warm, or getting my hands dirty in the garden. I like tinkering with things, whether that's a side project with self-hosted LLMs, a route planning algorithm for autonomous sailing, or just figuring out why my tomatoes aren't growing.
